Hi there! I'm Anne, an educated, sushi loving, Amazing Race addicted, sibling oriented, flip flop wearing, formerly unemployed, momma.
My mommyhood journey began back in 2002 when it was just me and Noelle. Even though she was an amazingly good baby, I had no idea how I was going to finish my undergraduate degree, go to work and raise a baby. Well, somehow we did it -- I finished my bachelor's degree and went on to earn my law degree in 2008 -- and we are both still in one piece.
Throughout all of that, I met and married my wonderful husband. We had a dream wedding at Disneyland in August 2008, just three weeks after I finished taking the bar exam. After that life was a complete whirlwind. I got married, got pregnant in November 2008, got laid off from my job as an attorney in June 2009, had my cute -- but very high maintenance -- son Nikolai in August 2009 and have since then been a SAHM in search of a new job.
I started blogging in December 2009 as a way to have adult thoughts and expressions (we SAHM sometimes forget that other adults do indeed exist). What I have discovered is that I love sharing my thoughts, experiences and complaints with others and that there is a large network of other blogging mommies who have befriended and helped me out along the way.
In September 2010, thanks to many great friends and my family, my unemployment ended. I found a great job and cannot wait to share my new adventures as a working mom.

No matter where life takes me from here, I am very happy to have such a loving family and the ability to share what happens with all of you!
